Privacy Policy

Kemia is private compatibility intelligence for adults. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how users can export, delete, or revoke access to their data.

Information we collect

When you create or use an account, we may collect account identifiers such as your email address if you provide one, display name, your confirmation that you are 18 or older, sign-in credentials where applicable, and limited device information such as app version and crash logs.

Assessment responses

Kemia collects your answers to assessment questions about communication, expectations, lifestyle, working style, social dynamics, and related compatibility factors. These responses are used to create your private profile and, with mutual consent, shared reports.

Pair reports and consent

Pair reports are created only when both people participate and agree to compare. Either person may revoke shared report access. When access is revoked, shared reports and related artifacts may become unavailable until both people consent again.

AI report assistant

Kemia may use an AI report assistant to explain your generated report and answer questions about that report. The assistant is designed to stay within the report context and does not provide professional advice.

Purchases and subscriptions

If you purchase a report or subscription, purchase status and entitlement information may be processed by app store and subscription service providers so Kemia can unlock paid features.

Data export, deletion, and revocation

You may request a copy of your data, request deletion, or revoke shared report access from inside the app. You may also contact support@kemia.app for privacy or account help.

No sale of personal compatibility data

Kemia does not sell personal compatibility data.

Service providers

We may use service providers for hosting, analytics, subscriptions, support, and AI report generation. These providers process data only to support Kemia's operation.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Kemia, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms. Deletion requests are handled according to our app and legal workflows.
